Forma de pera de color verde oscuro en el árbol, se torna morado a negro al madurar. La piel es mediana a gruesa, con textura rugosa y “negra” en la madurez. Tamaño pequeño a mediano (140-400 gr.). El tamaño de la semilla es mediano con un aprovechamiento de la pulpa del 66-70%. La pulpa es de excelente calidad con un rico sabor nuez. Es la variedad más importante a nivel mundial.
