La variedad Kerman es la preferida por los consumidores, productores y procesadores, por su gran tamaño, calidad, rendimiento y facilidad de recolección. Los frutos son de tamaño por encima de la media, con un porcentaje de frutos vacíos muy reducido, y la cáscara se desprende fácilmente. Sin embargo, la variedad Kerman presenta alternancia en la producción.

Requiere alrededor de 900-1.000 horas de frío invernal y 3.500 horas de calor para dar su máximo rendimiento. El árbol tolera bien el riego abundante y, cuando madura, la sequía no le afecta tanto como a otras variedades.

Tiene un vigor moderado y se puede podar fácilmente durante sus primeros años para formarlo. El polinizador ideal es Petter, pero también se puede complementar con Guerrero y Egino, utilizando un 10% de plantas macho en la plantación.

The fruits are above average in size, with a very low percentage of empty fruits, and the shell is easily removed. However, the Kerman variety exhibits alternation in production.

It requires around 900-1,000 hours of winter chill and 3,500 hours of heat to give its maximum yield. The tree tolerates abundant watering well and, when mature, is not as affected by drought as other varieties.

It has moderate vigor and can be easily pruned during its first years to shape it. The ideal pollinator is Petter, but it can also be complemented with Guerrero and Egino, using 10% male plants in the plantation.
