El Citrus australasica, también conocido como lima dedo o caviar cítrico, es un arbusto o un pequeño árbol espinoso. Las hojas son pequeñas, de 1 a 5 cm de largo y 3 a 25 mm de ancho, y tienen un color verde brillante. 

Los frutos son comestibles con un sabor ácido y refrescante, y de tamño de hasta unos 10 cm de longitud, contienen el denominado Caviar cítrico en su interior, que son unas pequeñas bolitas. Los "caviares" tienen un sabor cítrico, y se pueden utilizar en ensaladas, salsas, cócteles y otros platos. De las diferentes tonalidades, nosotros solo trabajamos planta con frutos de tonalidades de pulpa rosada.

Aunque la planta puede venir con fruta NO vendemos planta con fruta. Recomendamos que valore si necesita efectuar 2 pedidos separados, o esperar a recibirlo todo junto.

Citrus australasica, also known as finger lime or caviar citrus, is a shrub or small thorny tree. The leaves are small, 1–5 cm long and 3–25 mm wide, and have a bright green color. 

The fruits are edible with a refreshing, acidic taste and can reach a length of up to 10 cm. They contain the so-called Citrus Caviar inside, which are small balls. The "caviars" have a citrus flavour and can be used in salads, sauces, cocktails and other dishes. Of the different shades, we only work with plants with fruits with pinkish flesh.

Although the plant may come with fruit, we DO NOT sell plants with fruit. We recommend that you consider whether you need to place 2 separate orders, or wait to receive everything together.
