Tipo: Limón temprano no refloreciente

DESCRIPCIÓN: Variedad española, procede probablemente de una semilla de limón Común de la Vega de Murcia.

El árbol es muy vigoroso y de tamaño muy grande. Posee cierta tendencia a la emisión de brotes con espinas. Reflorece poco, siendo la floración más agrupada que Verna y por lo general se inicia algo mas tarde. La viabilidad del polen es media. La variedad es autocompatible. El fruto se comercializa con la denominación de Primafiori. Éste es tamaño mediano y forma esférico-ovalada. Sin cuello en la base, mamelón corto y puntiagudo. Presenta más semillas y piel más fina que la variedad Verna. Recolección en primera y segunda temporada (octubre-febrero). Gran calidad para consumo en fresco y para la industria.

Actualmente en los viveros se multiplican dos clones de la variedad: Fino 49 y Fino 95.

Type: Early non-reblooming lemon

DESCRIPTION: Spanish variety, probably derived from a seed of the Common lemon from the Vega de Murcia.

The tree is very vigorous and very large in size. It has a certain tendency to produce shoots with thorns. It does not flower much, with flowering being more clustered than Verna and generally starting somewhat later. Pollen viability is medium. The variety is self-compatible. The fruit is marketed under the name Primafiori. It is medium-sized and spherical-oval in shape. It has no neck at the base, a short and pointed nipple. It has more seeds and a thinner skin than the Verna variety. Harvested in the first and second season (October-February). Great quality for fresh consumption and for industry.

Currently, two clones of the variety are being propagated in nurseries: Fino 49 and Fino 95.
